When is the best time to go shark fishing?
Shark fishing is seasonal, offered May-November.
What type of sharks will we catch?
St. Augustine is home to a diverse range of sharks that we can catch, including the Atlantic Sharpnose, Blacktip, Blacknose, Tiger, Bull, Sandbar, Hammerhead, Bonnethead, Fine Tooth and Nurse sharks.
Can I bring my children shark fishing?
Absolutely! Children are always welcome. All charters, including shark fishing trips, are family-friendly, and Captain Chuck Joe prioritizes a safe experience for everyone involved, including the little ones.
Will we catch other fish during the shark trip?
Yes, during this trip, we also target sand trout, whiting and croakers, and occasionally catch tarpon, jack crevalle, bonita and king mackerel.
